Shanghai Scholarship!
About a month ago I found out that I had received a full scholarship to study abroad in Shanghai, China for an academic year. (Nine months) Needless to say, I am extremely excited for the opportunity! However, due to the scholarship being sponsored by the U.S. State Department and being focused on language immersion I am also quite nervous. In preparation for the program I would love to be able to spend more time conversing with native Mandarin Chinese speakers, preferably those who speak the Shanghainese Hu dialect.
If you would like someone to help you with your English (written or spoken) and would be willing to help me with learning and practicing Chinese feel free to send me a message and we can Skype or do language exchange by some other medium. Thanks!!!
