There are mistakes in a number of the other sentences, but for now, let's just focus on the first sentence. "I entered the cab and the cabby didn't stop to talk. He bothered me all over the way." This should be: "I entered the cab and the cabby didn't stop talking. He bothered me the entire time." (I supposed you could also write: "He bothered me all the way to my destination" or something like that). If you write, "I entered the cab and the cabby didn't stop to talk," this means that the cabby did NOT talk. Given that you stated that the cabby was bothering you, I presume you mean that the cabby DID talk and that he talked too much. Correct? So, this should be: "... the cabby did not stop talking" - that is, he wouldn't shut up!
