What is your inspiration for learning foreign languages?

My inspiration for learning Mandarin was singers.
When I was 12 years old, the Taiwanese boy band, F4, was very famous in Thailand, and we Thai teenagers all loved them, and wanted to talk with them in Mandarin.
But at that time, the opportunities to study Mandarin were few,
so I relied on watching Taiwanese movies and singing Taiwanese songs to practise Mandarin.
It seemed like heaven wanted me to learn Mandarin.
So I was happy able to major in Chinese for my Bachelor degree,
and am looking forward to the many opportunities to use it when I intern.
On the other hand, my English skills are worse than before,
so I also now need to improve my English skills!

**Thanks Mr. Jeff :)**
