Frustrating Sometimes, learning language is really a frustrating thing. When you watch the movie, you can't get every word without subtitles or you have to look up the dictionary more than 10 times to finish only one book page. You just feel hopeless. Wish I could be planted a chip, and grasp a new language in just one day!

Frustrating

Sometimes, learning a language is really a frustrating thing. When you watch a movie, you can't get every word without the help of subtitles, or you have to look up your dictionary more than 10 times to finish only one page of a book. You just feel hopeless. I wish I could be planted with a chip, and download a new language in just one day!

Aw, but that's no fun. :)

With any new language, the going is slow at first. You can use this frustration to your advantage, and let it motivate you to try harder.

Also, don't feel you have to understand every single word in a book or movie. Sometimes, just read or watch something and see how much you do actually understand. If you analyse everything that comes to you, you won't enjoy the learning process at all.
