Not just language learning =)
From time to time here (не надо два повторяющих слова) I observe that there are some discussions here about whether iTalki is like Facebook.
As for me, Italki is no similar to Facebook or VKontakte, but anyway, it's definitely not just for studying! I don't know whether people find any good friends here, but I'm sure that they can find here more than language practice! =) People like to share any of their favourite stuff of their, so we can discover something new about any subject! I pay much more attention when people write about interesting places or events they visited, or about their favourite music. So, I do appreciate the recommendations that an Italian man gave me about a month ago. He led (inspired) me to listen to some famous Italian rock bands. Two of them I definitely liked, so I guess, now it's my time to share them with you =) Well, the first one is called "Verdena", which consists of three members only. They play pretty light/easy music and sound a bit gothic, but the music is still interesting and unusual. There you can find some of their songs: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=aYdUWfMGVqU http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3PrZcDHlIik http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=y_wFx4TKNbI And the second band is called "Negramaro". They can be quite jolting with their strong and peculiar vocals: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rrALcMpdG-g&list=PL80D84C388D9F86B8&index=18 http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=706MYXt8eQY http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QJGjZdjXaq8&list=PL80D84C388D9F86B8&index=10 I think both the bands have in their music something very "Italian" (I don't mean the language but something very special in the exactly sound) and I do like it! Well, Andrea, thank you very much for your recommendations! =)
