안녕하세요! You wouldn't believe me if I told you that it took me all afternoon just to learn how to write that. Unfortunately, I'm not experienced enough to write this journal entry in 한글 however I'll get there one day! I became friends with Korean Americans at my university, fell in love with the cuisine, culture and Atlanta's vibrant Koreatown. After getting down a few phrases and having my friends compliment my pronunciation, I decided to try to learn the language. I've been told not to rely on romanization and learn Korean using 한글 so for the next week or so I'll be working hard on learning the Korean vowels, combined vowels, consonants, combined consonants, double consonants and beginning and ending consonants!
