Yesterday, I met my friend Pablo in Milan. He was surprised to see me and said "Hi Will! How long have we known each other?" "A long time, and how are you?" I answered. He told me that he had been in Paris for two years because his wife Pamela had found a job there. "In the meantime, I have found a job there, too" he said. "Wow" I said, "That is great news, but why do you look so angry? And above all, why are you here in Milan?" I asked. He answerd sighing, "I'm here because you owe me 3.000 Euros!" Smiling, I replied "So when are you coming back, my friend?"
Good one, Guglielmo.
I think you meant "How long has it been since we have seen each other?"
When quoting, the form is "A long time! How are you?", I answered.
3.000 > 3,000 (I am American so for me, it is dollars, $3,000.00)
Funny story, not real, but funny... or sort of.... ;) Thank you for the corrections!
