I’ve made a Public Video Pledge for the 2014 New Year’s Language Challenge I’ve made a Public Video Pledge for the 2014 New Year’s Language Challenge. The link is http://youtu.be/40-fRPUq1fg. I know my translation isn't perfect, but I figure that the whole point is to have a go and get better. The text from my Promise is below: I am doing the iTalki New Year’s Challenge. I promise to take at least three lessons per week online for the challenge. I am taking the challenge because I know how to read ok, but I need to practice with natives speakers in order to understand what I hear. Also My girlfriend’s family is Chilean and I would like to be able to communicate with them I would like not to be tongue tied when I speak. I hope at the end of the challenge I can speak with more fluency and be able to understand simple conversation. Hago el reto iTalki de el nuevo ano. Prometo que yo voy a tomar al menos tres clases por internet por semana por la durante de el reto. Tomo el reto porque me leer bien pero necesito practicar con los hablantes nativos para entender lo que oigo. Tambien, la familia de mi novia es chileana y me gustaria comunicar con ellos. Me gustaria no estar mudo cuando hablo. Espero que en el termino del reto yo podria hablar con fluencia y podria enteder conversaciones simples.
