Hi again! I have another exercise I'd like to check....thanks!!!

Test 3. From each pair of sentences make one sentence using an -ing clause.
Example: She was sitting in an armchair. She was reading a book. - She was sitting in an armchair reading a book.
    1) Jill was lying on the bed. She was crying.
Jill was lying on the bed, crying   You don't need the comma here.  The independent clause is first so you don't need a comma.  Also you forgot periods at the ends of the sentences.
    2) I got home. I was feeling tired.
I got home feeling tired  Good
    3) The old man was walking along the street. He was talking to himself.
The old man was walking along the street, talking to himself  No comma here
    4) Jim hurt his arm. He was playing tennis.
Playing tennis, jim hurt his arm.   Correct because you have the dependent clause first
    5) Ann fell asleep. She was watching TV.
    Ann fell asleep watching TV
    6) The man slipped. He was getting off the bus.
The man slipped, getting off the bus
    7) The girl cut herself. She was cooking.
    The girl cut herself cooking
    8) I was walking home in the rain. I got wet.
I got wet while walking home in the rain   The only sentence you put "while" in. This works well too but I don't know if they want that. You could have used "while" in many of the sentences.
    9) Mag was driving to work yesterday. She had an accident.
Mag had an accident driving to work yesterday
    10) Two firemen were overcome by smoke. They were trying to put out the fire.
Two fireman were overcome by smoke trying to put out the fire

The rest were all good except needing periods.
