Dé Sathairn 2014-03-01

Bhí mé ag m’obair inné. Tá mé ag obair ag ollscoil i an chathair Bristol i Sasana.

Anocht, bhí mé ag damhsa. Bhí go leor daoine ansin agus fiormhaith cheol. Mar sin tá mé an-thuirseach inniu mar gheall ar bhí mé ag teacht abhaile go moch ar maidin.
Bhí mé ag iarraidh ag feiceáil mo charad inniu ach anois, tá mé cinnte rothuirseach ar maidin seo.

Now what I this that says (LoL):
I was at work yesterday. I work at a University in the city of Bristol in England.

Last I was out dancing/at a dance. There were lots of people and really good music. So I am very tired today because I came home early in the morning.
I was wanting to see my friend today but now I am really too tired this morning.

Bhí mé ag m’obair inné. Tá mé ag obair ag ollscoil i an gcathair Bristol i Sasana.

Anocht, Bhí mé ag damhsa aréir ["anocht" means "this coming night", for "last night" use "aréir"]. Bhí go leor daoine ansin ann agus ceol fíormhaith [adjectives come after the noun, with a few exceptions]. Mar sin tá mé an-thuirseach ["an-" doesn't lenite t, d or s] inniu mar gheall airbhí mé ag teacht gur tháinig mé abhaile go moch ar maidin.
Bhí mé ag iarraidh mo chairde ag a fheiceáil mo charad inniu, ach anois tá mé cinnte róthuirseach ar maidin seo.
