他跟我说话我能听懂，但是听不懂他和其他当地人说话。ta1 gen1 wo3 shuo1hua4 wo3 neng2 ting1dong3, dan4shi4 ting1bu4（可以是轻音，没有声调）dong3 ta1he2qi2ta1 dang1di4ren2 shuo1hua4 When they spoke with me I could understand, but I couldn't understand other people's conversations.
