I've got (1)the flu
I've got the flu. :( I was almost dying last night. I had a fever for the first time in (2)ten years.
I don't have any appetite (3), but I feel a little better now.
I can't go to work, I can't go out, so I will (4)just watch some dramas.
1. "Flu" is always followed by "the" or "a". "cold" is different though, it is always followed by "a". This is strange, but it is just how English is spoken. Examples: I've got a cold. I have the flu.
2. Numbers -- spell out any one word number. Examples: one, two, 100, ten, 22, seven, twenty, 35, 1378.
3. Sentences rarely begin with conjunctions. Split your sentence with a comma instead.
4. Since you can't do the other things you'd like to do, use "just". It sounds better.
