The world we live in, so stressful and chaotic, we hope to find a peaceful place where we can be ourselves who we are, in few words to sum it up, we're looking for our identity.
There are several ways to stand out from the crowd, others but fashion is the most attractive way. We usually think that the clothes we wear is are a way of saying to say: Hey, I'm unique, look at me!. But, is it are they (replaces "clothes" which is plural) really?. On websites We post comments and photos on websites and follow blogs according to a certain style of living, the style of the majority most people. The point is to that we pretend to be somebody who whe we are not, being we claim to be different/individuals but wearing the same clothes as everyone else

This is not new, our grandpas had the same problem than as us. It was even worse for them because of the strong repression that they have had to live with. Their days have been era was more difficult, particulary for women: Being a lady, always with having a smile in on her lips and wearing large dresses to cover up your her entire body (be careful of inconsistancies "smile on her lips..., dresses to cover up her body...) -Not to mention how difficult it had to be for them to go to the beach- and if you weren't married at by the time you were fourty years old, society was going to frowned it upon.
In the 70's we broke out with away from these clichés -but we introduced others- through the modern social revolutions. In Spain, perphaps it is still considered odd to see a blue-haired guy or a man with heels taller than ours!!.

The world we live in can be so stressful and chaotic. We hope to find a peaceful place where we can be who we are; in a few words, we're looking for our identities.
There are several ways to stand out from the others, but fashion is the most attractive. We usually think clothes we wear is a way to say, "Hey, I'm unique, look at me!" But, is it really? On websites we post comments, photos and follow blogs according to a certain style of living or the styles of most people. The point is to pretend to be somebody who we are not and to be different but wearing the same.
This is not new; our grandparents had the same problem as us. Even worse, because of the strong repression that they have had to live in, their days were more difficult, particulary for women. If you were a lady, you had to always have a smile in your lips and wear large dresses to cover up your entire body - Not to mention how difficult it had to be to go to the beach - and if you weren't married at fourty years old, society was going to frowned upon you.
In the 70's we broke out of these clichés, but we introduced others through the modern social revolutions. In Spain, perhaps it is still odd to see a blue haired guy or a man with heels taller than ours!!.

Fashion and Changing Lifestyles.

The world we live in, is so stressful and chaotic, that we hope to find a peaceful place where we can be who we are, in a few words, we're looking for our identity.

There are several ways to stand out from the others but fashion is the most attractive. We usually think the clothes we wear is are a way to say, "hey, I'm unique, look at me!". But, is this true?

On websites we post comments, photos, and follow blogs according to a certain style of living, the style of most people. The point is to pretend to be somebody who whe are not, by being different but still wearing the same styles/clothes/trends (give us a noun here).

This is not new, our grandpas grandparents had the same problem than as us. This was even worse because of the strong repression that they have had to live endure. Their days have been were more difficult, particulary for women. Being a lady meant always with having a smile in on her lips and wearing large dresses to cover up your her entire body. Not to mention how difficult it had to be for them to go to the beach. If you weren't married at fourty years old, society was going to frowned it upon. would frown upon it. (we can talk about conjunctive in English, it's not too crazy).

In the 70's we broke out with of these clichés, but we introduced others through the modern social revolutions. In Spain, perphaps it is still odd to see a blue haired guy or a man with heels taller than ours a womans!!
