Hello wushujosh

Given that you want to make these sentences sound natural, I believe you are talking about spoken Vietnamese. However you did not give reference as which dialect you want, because spoken Vietnamese can be very different between the North, Central and South, in terms of such as vocabulary, grammar, or supplementary words. I am from Saigon, and I speak Southern dialect. So I am gonna give you examples of what I will say if I were you.

Be cautious though, as the language can be very informal: the vocabulary may not sound very "standard" and the grammar is quite different (cannot be literally translated words to words as normally expected).

1 more thing, as you probably have known, Vietnamese has a number of pronouns. Here I will assume you are talking to someone who is either as old as you or younger (in terms of age) or has close relationship with you. So "I" here is "tao" or "tui", and "you" is "mày", "ông", "bà".

Where there is no context given or only 1 sentence, I will use the not so formal language, in which case "I" is "tôi".

Legends:

- words with blue highlighted is for Southern vocabulary

- green: the normal way the idea/sentence is expressed in Southern dialect

---

---

Her children are at school
Con của cô ấy đang ở trương học

=> Mấy đứa con cổ đang ở trong trường đó. (we say "đang ở trong trường" or "đang đi học", which are "are in school" or "are going to school" respectively, "đó" is a supplementary word)
