I have been staying at home for one year. I don't have a job, though I have applied for work at many places, and they have not accepted me. I ask myself, "why can't I get a job?" "What is my problem?" I think the biggest problem is my degree. I graduated in one year from college with a degree in Business Administration. I don't know what I learned from college. I am not lazy, but everything I learned in college did not help me get a job. The lessons I learned in school are different from reality. I am stuck playing the game of life right now, but this difficult game may have a beautiful ending, or I will choose to play a new game. Maybe there are many companies having economic troubles. They laid off many of their workers and are seeking new members full of experience. I never worked when I was a student in college. I am learning English now to have more opportunities. I'm not the only one in this situation.

If you really think about it, there is no difference between the meaning of "did learn" and "learned." Both mean that you performed the action of learning something in the past. But using "did + verb" sounds strange to native English speakers. Normally, when talking about something in the past tense, you will use "verb + ed". For example, "I finished eating my dinner," instead of "I did finish eating my dinner." I don't know if there is any particular reason for this, other than that using "did + verb" is more often used to emphasize that something happened. If I said, "you didn't finish your homework, Survival!" you would say, "I did finish my homework!" because it would make a stronger point than, "I finished." There are other instances when you could use "did + Verb," but what I am basically trying to say is that it is more common to say "V + ed." I was on a website and saw this example: Saying something like "I did go shopping for food yesterday" will probably make people say, "Well, nobody said you didn't!"
