The UAE' drone deliveries. (Please help me !!) 1. On February 9th, the UAE government announced that they are going to start experimentally using unmanned aerial devices for delivering services. 2. The unmanned aerial device, so called “drone”, will be used to deliver official government documents (such as ID card etc..), and medicines. 3. And the device will not only be used for delivering but also used for monitoring some infrastructures such as roads, trains, and also used for geographical investigation. 4. The government unveiled the device which has 4 propellers in the press conference. 5. The delivering distance of the device is up to 3km (3km is the longest delivery distance of the device.) and it can deliver up to 1.5kg. 6. The device has been used under a remote control but in the near future it will be tested to check if it can fly with an autonomous fly control. 7. I heard that “Amazon” has also started the trial usage of the device for the delivering service. 8. People have paid attention whether or not the UAE government adopts the devices for regular delivering services earlier than Amazon. (If the test goes well, the government will adopt the device for regular delivering services.)
