My Russian for today.

Наконец-то погода наладилась (gone to well) - it's more common Russian collocation. Погода прекрасная. Светит солнце. Погода хорошая. Это идеальная погода для пикника.

I think tomorrow I should change the topic perhaps.

My Russian for today.

Наконец-то погода успокоилась. Погода прекрасная(it's better to say "Oна прекрасная" here,to avoid the tautology). Светит солнце. Погода хорошая. Это идеальная погода для пикника.

Thanks Maxim, I keep forgetting though. I just can't seem to keep new Russian words in my head. I've got everything written down but I keep having to reread it all. Oh, if only to have a young brain again! Ha ha!
