my son and me My son is 3 years old. He likes active game and hides anywhere. I made up game for him, which we call “Monster”. I should cover myself with blanket and make sounds like uuuuuu….. to imitate monster. After that he hides anywhere, usually in a cupboard, behind a curtain or under a blanket or sheet and keeps silent. After a while I ask loudly-“where are you, Ivan?” (my son’s name Ivan.) he answer -“I am here.” If I look him or discover where he is, I say-“I’ll catch and roll you”. He is not very fast, so when I close to him I take off the blanket and roll him into it in such way that only a head is above rolled blanket. He tell me –“monster, go to the kitchen and drink tea and I’ll wait you here”. I go out the room, then he loses from blanket, find me in the kitchen and says ”I am free. Catch me monster” and hide somewhere again. But yesterday when I come home, he was building the towers with his bricks. He had built one, I entered the room. It was his fist tower built by him. It was not taller 20 centimeters, but I was proud of him. He was so involved in the building the towers that he didn’t notice me. I closed the door and quietly went to kitchen to watch TV and talk with my wife. It was first an hour of silent and calmness. After that he came up and said- “Papa let’s play in “Monster””. At the end of the day I was so tied that I could only to take a shower. I love my son, but I haven’t so much energy as my son.
