About "animes" and Japanese food About "animes" and Japanese food. Animes are Japanese animations and my favorites are Dragon Ball and Card Captors Sakura. Of course I like the Japanese culture too and I'm very happy because my city has the Brazil's greatest community of Japanese after São Paulo. Because of this there're a lot of restaurants and sushy bars at here, but you can eat soba (a typical food from Okinawa island, if I'm not wrong) even in a pizzearia or in a snack bar. Enjoy your meal =D

About "animes" and Japanese food

About anime and Japanese food.

Anime are is a Japanese style of animation, and my favorites are Dragon Ball* and Card Captors Sakura*. Of course, I like the Japanese culture too, and I'm very happy because my city has the Brazil's greatest community of largest Japanese community, after São Paulo.

Because of this, there are a lot of restaurants and sushi bars at here, but you can eat soba (a typical food from Okinawa island, if I'm not wrong) even in a pizzeria or in a snack bar.

Enjoy your meal! =D

*One thing I think italki should do is let you use the formatting tools to write your notebook entries, not just for corrections. Proper names and titles can either be in italics or in quotes. Because when you write youe entry you can't use italics, probably better to put "Dragon Ball" and "Card Captors Sakura" in quotes.
