Bar chart description We can see from the bar chart that there is a gradual decrease in the rate of students who study for career with age. Nearly 80% of students under the age of 26 study for career, while the rate drops by 10-20% every decade. Only 40% of students between 40 and 49 and 18%of over 49yr olds study out of career concerns in their late adulthood. By contrast, the percentage of students who study for interest reasons increases with age. Only around 10% of under 26yr olds study for interest. The figure, however, goes up steadily till the beginning of the fourth decade and rise steeply in late adulthood with nearly 70% of students studying out of interest. It is also clearly that the percentages of 40-49yr olds study for career and interest are nearly the same.
