The Corfu Island It's always interesting to read about other countries, their culture, nature, cities. And of course, who doesn't love to travel! Unfortunately, the big trips are rare (while you save money, find companions, plan a vacation etc.), but when you get it, the memories last for lifetime. Last time I was in Greece, in Corfu Island. It was a great travel! The length of the island from the North to the South is 65 km, from the West to the East is 20 km. So, it is quite small. Maybe the island would seem boring, but if you don't to sit on the beach, and will hire a care (or scooter), then you'll see many beautiful places. Well, we did it! We crossed almost all the island: we visited the Paleokastritsa beach, saw its emerald clear water and green cypresses; got to the old pirate castle Angelokastro on the mountain with amazing endless sea view; attended the Perulades beach, with its golden sand and large cliffs; visited the noisy and crowded Cercira, the capital of the island; and finally we got to the very South of the island - Kavou town, a ghostly, dried and deserted place. It was an incredible adventure, and if you are on the Corfu, I advise to visit all these wonderful beauties and to see it with your own eyes.

The Corfu Island

It's always interesting to read about other countries, their culture, nature, cities. And of course, who doesn't love to travel!

Unfortunately, the big trips are rare (while you save money, find companions, plan a vacation etc.), but when you get it, the memories last for lifetime.

Last time I was in Greece, on (the island of) Corfu Island. It was a great trip! The length of the island from the north to the south is 65 km; from west to east it is 20 km. So, it is quite small. Maybe the island would seem boring, but if you don't just sit on the beach but hire a care (or scooter), then you'll see many beautiful places. Well, we did it!

We crossed almost every part of the island: we visited the Paleokastritsa beach, saw its emerald clear water and green cypresses; got to the old pirate castle Angelokastro in the mountain with an amazing, endless sea view; went to the Perulades beach, with its golden sand and large cliffs; visited the noisy and crowded Cercira, the capital of the island; and finally we got to the very south of the island - Kavou town, a ghostly, dry and deserted place.

It was an incredible adventure, and if you are on the Corfu, I recommend you to visit all these wonderful beauties and to see it with your own eyes.
