Day of memory We have old Russian tradition. Her name is parent’s day. In this day all people go at the cemetery, clean the graves their relatives, and remember their relatives. This day - day of memory. Yesterday I was at the cemetery, and cleaned grandmother and grandfather graves.

Day of memory

We have an old Russian tradition which we call Parent’s day.
On this day everyone goes to the cemetery, to clean the graves of their relatives, and remember them. This day - is a day of memory.
Yesterday I was at the cemetery, and I cleaned my grandparents' graves.

Hi. I am sure someone will comment that some other cultures have the same tradition - but a different date. Is there are reason for the date in Russia?
