The mouse! In trying to write some Russian today I cane across the proverb 'The early bird catches the worm, and the secondo mouse gets the cheese'. While I had heard the first part before I had never before heard the bit about the mouse! Interesting! Anyway, here's my phrase for today. В доме мышь, и это Большая Цроблема.

In trying to write some Russian today I cane across the proverb 'The early bird catches the worm, and the secondo mouse gets the cheese'. While I had heard the first part before I had never before heard the bit about the mouse! Interesting!

Anyway, here's my phrase for today.

Тем не менее, вот моя фраза дня.

В доме мышь, и это Большая Цроблема.

Если в доме мыши (мышь — singular; мыши — plural), это большая проблема.

Yes! It is very interesting!

The early bird catches the worm, but the second mouse gets the cheese.

Ранняя пташка ловит червя, но второй мышке достаётся сыр. :)

Oh gosh... Look! I had my Italian keyboard on and it auto corrected 'came' as 'cane' and 'second' as 'secondo'! Oops! Sometimes it's difficult operating 3 languages on one tablet!
