My last trip Last year I went to Ethiopia. It was the first time I go to Africa. It is very easy traveling around Ethiopia. Although Ethiopia has a lot of mountains the roads are well paved. The country has diferent landscapes. The North of the country is dryer and dustier than South which is wetter and has more forest. The Danakil Depression is a very special place. It is in the Northeast of the country. It is the hottest place of the world and it is 200 meters under sea level. It is amazing place. When you are traveling in this area as though you stay an extraterrestial place. In summer the hot is so strong that you cannot go there. And if you do it you could die for deshidratation. There are few places in the world where you can see an active volcano. Danakil is one of them. Erta Ale is a volcano that has a lake of lava. From 1968 it is constantly active. You can approach it as much as your body can withstand the heat. We were lucky because the lake of lava had a hudge explosions for a while. We slept by the crater whole nigth, it was really wonderful ! I´ll never forget it!
