It's not a holiday These days in Australia are public holiday called " Easter day " I got 4 days holiday but I have to do many homework which will be hand in after the vacation. I almost spent all the time staying in the library and studying. I've read several journal articles that I've never read so many before. It's really tired to do those kinds of things. Are there any tips for reading articles more efficiently?

Good work Erica.
You could try skim reading, where you read for the general idea, but you don't read every word, because a lot of the time, articles have a lot of extra information too.

It's not a holiday

Today in Australia it is Easter Monday; the last day of a four day public holiday weekend known as Easter. During this time I have been doing my homework which needs to be handed in after the vacation. I have spent almost all of this time studying at the library where I’ve read more journals and articles that ever before. All these activities overall have been very tiring. Do you have any tips for reading articles more efficiently?

I have rearranged your text instead of correcting your format. Your format is not wrong, I have only made changes that might help you understand how English can be shaped in different ways and still have the same meaning.

My tip for reading articles more efficiently would be to consider this possibility; if you are having trouble understanding some articles it could be that the article is written badly in English. It might not be only because you are learning the language. There are some journalists and authors who are paid a lot of money and still do not write very clearly. So when you are reading ask yourself this question; are some articles easier to read than others? And if an article is difficult for you to read and understand, it might also be difficult for a native English person.

Good luck with your studies.
