Confused

Last week I met with one of my highschool mates. I hadn't seen him for awhile. He had become<em>( or grown)</em> taller than me. While we were chatting and remembering the old days, he invited me to his wedding. I asked him if he was joking and he told me he wasn't. He still is only 23 years old yet he has  managed to get married at this age. I am very jealous. Anyway, that is not the problem here. The problem is my hesitation about going. That's because my relation that the bond between me and him us is not that strong, and another reason is there will be a lot of my high school mates that I forgot most of their there whose names I have forgotten, and I am afraid to of feeling like an outsider. I forgot to mention that I was a transfer student in my high school. So What is your advice for me ?! Do I have to go ?!! I will appreciate any thoughts.
