她吃东西。(OMG,Who is 她？ The dog or the cat? if the 她 is the dog, how can she runing and eating at the same time?)

In chinese, if you wanna describle an object or an animal, you can just use 它，not use 她 or 他。 only you describle a human(人) you can use 他（because 亻=人=human=boy）or 她 （because 女=human=girl）
