Pomozi tvojej mami da zatvorim vratu!

Pomozi tvojoj ( može se pisati Tvojoj kao znak poštovanja ) da zatvori (3p.sing) vrata ( #4)

2) The three of them came home late on Tuesday
Ta trojica su išla kući kasno u utorak.

Trojica od njih ( more accurate translation ) su došla kući kasno u utorak

3) Your father fetched the bread for dinner and put it on the table
Tvoj tata su išao po hleb za ručak i ga je postavio na sto.
Tvoj tata je doneo ( more accurate translation ) po hleb za ručak i stavio ( better translation )  i stavio ga je na sto. (words'order )

4) Jovan will wash the carpets tomorrow
Jovan će oprati tepihe sutra.

5) Do you think that he'll be here on Friday?
Da li misliš da će biti ovde u petak?

6) We saw them talking in the kitchen.
Mi smo ih videli kako pričaju u kuhinji.

7) Dejan's birthday is on 15th February.
Dejanov rođendan je u ( no need tu use preposition ) petnaestog februara.

Sumnjam da ću imati vremena da ga radimo.

Da je Maja bila kod kuće, videla bi njenog/ svoga ( better ) brata.

Mi smo svi studenti, koji (#1.pl.) uče srpski jezik na univerzitetu u Nottinghamu / na Nattingamskom universitetu. ( If you use a original name in a cyrilic text you should wite endings like that : на универзитету у Nottingham... на Nottingham - ском универзитету... )

16) 5 students were sitting and reading in the library.
Petoro studenta je sedеlo i je čitalo u biblioteci.

17) I told them that it would be better if they took the books home to read.
Rekao sam im da budem bolje ako nosiju knjige kod kuće da čitaju.

rekao sam im da bi bilo bolje da ponesu knjige kući da ih tamo čitaju ( more accurate translation ).

Pitali su Vesnu:" kako se kaže 'hvala' na srpskom".

Pomozi tvojoj (I know you confused it with Russian. In RUssian that would be: "твоeй") ej mami da zatvori m vratа! u!

2) The three of them came home late on Tuesday
Ta trojica su i došla kući kasno u utorak.

3) Your father fetched the bread for dinner and put it on the table
Tvoj tata je su išao po hleb za ručak i ga je po stavio ga je na sto.

4) Jovan will wash the carpets tomorrow
Jovan će oprati tepihe sutra.

5) Do you think that he'll be here on Friday?
Da li misliš da će biti ovde u petak?

6) We saw them talking in the kitchen.
Mi smo ih videli kako pričaju u kuhinji.

Some alternative corrections:

 

2) The three of them came home late on Tuesday
Ta trojica su išla kući kasno u utorak.

Njih trojica su se u utorak kasno vratili (<em>vratiti - to come back</em>) kući. (better word order)

OR

Njih tri su se u utorak kasno vratile kući. (no indication in the original if they were men or women)

 

3) Your father fetched the bread for dinner and put it on the table
Tvoj tata su išao po hleb za ručak i ga je postavio na sto.

Tvoj tata je dohvatio/uzeo/kupio hleb za ručak/večeru i (po)stavio ga na sto.

(context of "fetch" is unclear; did he fetch it from the cupboard? bought & brought it from outside?)


8) I doubt that we will have time to do it.
Sumnjam da ću imati vremena da ga radimo.
Sumnjam da ćemo imati vremena da to uradimo. (<em>Mi/We</em> is the subject)


10) If more English people lived in Belgrade, we could invite them for New Year.
Da bi više Engleza živelo u Beogradu, mi bismo ih pozivatili za Novu Godinu.
Da više Engleza živi u Beogradu, pozvali bismo ih za Novu Godinu. (2º conditional)
