Weird tasks Last friday I had a job interview for a sofware company, and the woman from human resources asked me if I've ever talked to people from Scotland. What??? I thought, and then I said "I guess sometime I did it..." She looked at my face and quickly said "It's because we have many scotish clients, and sometimes our employes complain because they cannot understand them". Now, I've been thinking about it.... are scotish people really such that hard to understand? A couple of times I talked to people who lived in London and I had few problems to understand them, but when I got used it was easier. Do you think that it's the same with the scotish? In case you're scotish and you're reading this, talk to me so I can practise haha!

Good - different regions of the UK have very different accents and this can make communication more difficult but you should be able to get used to this in a few days.
