I am interested in speaking with others to better my skill with Irish. Also, I do not yet know how to place the accent marks over letters.

"Banaltra" is technically a female nurse (the prefix "ban" signifies a female) though the term sometimes seems to get used indiscriminately for both males and females. The proper term for a male nurse is "altra fir" and the gender-neutral term is "altra".
