Money, money, money - Pénz, pénz, pénz A magyar hivatalos pénznem a forint. A neve Firenze város elnevezéséből ered, ahol az arany érméket eredetileg bányászták a középkorban. Jelenleg 5, 10, 20, 50, 100, 200, 500, 1000, 2000, 5000, 10.000 és 20.000 forintos címletekben fizethetünk Magyarországon. Viszont az Európai Unió tagállamaként nálunk is elfogadható és beváltható az Euro. Pénzzel kapcsolatos tanácsok a hazánkba látogatóknak: - Figyelj a taxisokra! Lehetséges, hogy át akarnak ejteni! - A magyarok borravaló orientáltak (pubok, vendéglők, hotelek)! - Ajánlott mindig odafigyelni az értékeinkre, így a pénzünkre is (főleg Budapesten)! The Hungarian official currency is the so called Forint. The name of it comes from the city of Florence where gold coins were originally minted during the Middle Ages. Nowadays we can pay with 5, 10, 20, 50, 100, 200, 500, 1000, 2000, 5000, 10.000 and 20.000 Ft in Hungary. Since our country is a member of the EU we can accept and exchange Euro. Advice for future visitors of Hungary: - Pay attention at taxi drivers! They might want to fool you! - Hungarian people are tip orientated (pubs, restaurants, hotels)! - It's advised to take care of our values, just like our money (especially in Budapest)!

A hivatalos magyar pénznem a forint. (Sounds more natural) A neve Firenze város elnevezéséből ered, ahol az arany érméket eredetileg bányászták a középkorban. Jelenleg 5, 10, 20, 50, 100, 200, 500, 1000, 2000, 5000, 10.000 és 20.000 forintos címletekben fizethetünk Magyarországon. Viszont az Európai Unió tagállamaként nálunk is elfogadják es átváltják az eurót.
Pénzzel kapcsolatos tanácsok a hazánkba látogatóknak:
- Figyelj a taxisokra! Lehetséges, hogy át akarnak verni! (Sounds weird in written Hungarian)
- A magyarok borravaló orientáltak (kocsmák, vendéglők, hotelek)! (There are pubs, but more kocsmák.)
- Ajánlott mindig odafigyelni az értékeinkre, így a pénzünkre is (főleg Budapesten)!
