我害怕你对我也是如此之爱。 "this is why i am afraid,when you say that you love me too. " the translation above works and, after all, the literal translation of 怕 is to be afraid. However, there are other possibilities that might capture the meaning better than a strictly literal translation. "And so I am filled with trepidation when you say you love me" (this captures the meaning but one might argue that it's too many words and messes up the poetry) "And so I am unsure when you say you love me" (meh, I don't like this) "And so I am doubtful when you say you love me" (this is ok but it's not great) "And so I tremble when you say you love me" ( I think this fits the poetry best) As I said in my comment above, it's hard to translate poetry and other people may have different suggestions.
