There seem to be no limits to human selfishness; without limits, the consequence seems to be that there has to be a winner and a loser. We say we want to live in peace but, to achieve that peace, we feel we have to extinguish an entire people.
What kind of conscience could tolerate the extermination of all those children's souls?

2) I'm pretty sure you meant to say "Middle East"

3) Theologically, a "soul" cannot be exterminated as it is eternal in nature.  However, it is common in English to use the word "soul" to mean "life" and a human life can be exterminated even though a human soul cannot be exterminated (theologically).

4) A "war of innocents" would be a war in which innocents are waging war.  I think you meant to say "this war against innocents".
