IELTS writing task 2 answer (2) (What kind of help should rich countries give to poor nations) Question: Rich countries often give financial aid to poor countries, but it does not solve poverty, so rich countries should give other types of help to the poor countries rather than the financial aid. To what extent do you agree or disagree? Answer: Today, it is debated whether humanitarian assistance from industrialised countries to impoverished ones should be mainly financial or in other aspects. In my opinion, several approaches can be taken to help deprived nations other than economic support. Receiving financial aid helps people in poverty-stricken countries to maintain a basic living standard. They can purchase necessities especially food with this money so that they will not be starved to death, while local hospitals can be subsidised to provide free medical care to help cure diseases. This is particularly the case for those war-torn countries, where resources are scanty and the governments are not able to offer sufficient financial support their population. However, technological support may be more effective in tackling this problem. Highly-qualified professionals can be dispatched to impoverished nations to impart knowledge to improve productivity of factories and farms so that they are able to feed themselves in the future. For example, lectures given by rice experts from developed countries can inform the local farmers how to receive good harvest, and thus to alleviate famine. Another approach is to assist the developing world to build up an integrated infrastructure system. A society needs basic organizational structures to function properly, but many developing countries do not have enough capital or technology to construct such facilities. Therefore they are in desperate need of aid in this to improve their status quo. For instance, if roads are developed, merchants from poor nations will be able to export goods in order to earn foreign exchange to curb poverty. In conclusion, a variety of methods can be implement to support poor nations besides economic support, and they would be beneficial to those countries.

IELTS writing task 2 answer (2) (What kind of help should rich countries give to poor nations)

Question:

Rich countries often give financial aid to poor countries, but it does not solve poverty, so rich countries should give other types of help to the poor countries rather than the financial aid. To what extent do you agree or disagree?

Answer:

Today, it is debatable whether humanitarian assistance from industrialised countries to impoverished ones should be mainly financial or <em>in</em> be given via other forms of aid. In my opinion, several approaches can be taken to help deprived nations other than economic support.

Receiving financial aid helps people in poverty-stricken countries to maintain a basic living standard. They can purchase necessities (especially food) with this money so that they will not <em>be </em>starve to death, while local hospitals can be subsidised to provide free medical care to help cure diseases. This is particularly the case for those war-torn countries<em>,</em> where resources are scanty and the governments are not able to offer sufficient financial support to their citizens.

However, technological support may be more effective in tackling this problem. Highly<em>-</em>qualified professionals can be dispatched to impoverished nations to impart knowledge to improve productivity at factories and farms so that people are able to feed themselves in the future. For example, lectures given by rice experts from developed countries can inform the local farmers about how to yield good harvests, and thus <em>to</em> alleviate famine.

Another approach is to assist the developing world to build up an integrated infrastructure system. A society needs basic organizational structures to function properly, but many developing countries do not have enough capital or technology to construct such facilities. Therefore they are in desperate need of aid <em>in this</em> to improve their living standards. For instance, if roads are developed, merchants from poor nations will be able to export goods in order to earn foreign exchange and thereby curb poverty.

In conclusion, a variety of methods can be implemented to support poor nations besides transfers of cash, and they would be perhaps even more beneficial to those countries.

A very good essay, showing a wide range of vocabulary; well-developed arguments leading to logical conclusions—brava!  Almost all of my substitutions could be replaced by other synonyms: they are there to show a missing verb/adjective/etc., or because something better was needed to communicate the idea you're expressing.  All that notwithstanding, this is an essay nearly at native speaker level.
