Practice English #1, Make up story It was about 6 PM when last lecture finished, she went out class slowly. It was beautiful Saturday evening the weather was nice but she felt tired and wanted to reach home soon. She hurried her footsteps up headed to the station. After a few minute waiting, the bus came up. She took a deep breath and got on the bus quickly, she glanced to passengers who was sitting then quickly searched for empty seat. However she was glad to find the bus wasn't full with passengers. She took a seat in front row, it was comfortable and safety enough, though. She put her bag on her lap then sipping a drink that had she bought from the canteen at her college before. She felt a bit sleepy but she prefer to do something instead of sleep on the bus. It was such a kind of trigger for her to learn English while she's on the bus. She's used to listening to English podcasts or reading articles, novels and stuff. she just didn't want to waste her time by doing nothing while on the bus. She was thinking to continue reading a novel that she always brought lately, a Japanese fiction novel which has been translated into English. the story was about a young man named Toru Okada searched for his wife's missing cat and soon he found himself looking for his wife as well. The story was fascinating her but when she look at the novel which has about 600 pages she has a thought to jump to a random chapter sometimes but however she didn't do it.
