A letter to my friend Marina. Practice for the CAE exam! :)

Dear Marina,

I'm terribly sorry for not answering your letter earlier. I’ve been busy with my college exams and I couldn't read your letter until now. Firstly, I’d like to say that I’m extremely happy to hear that you are working in the hotel you wanted.  I know how hard have you tried to be where you are, so congratulations!

As I said before, I’ve been busy this month due to the numerous exams that I had to take.  As I wanted to pass all of them, I had to lock myself away in order to be able to study like never before. The good news is that I’ve passed all the tests, so now I’m totally free to go anywhere. For instance, I could go to visit you, and I’m thinking about it because I’d be glad to have the chance to see you again.

Despite the fact that I’ve passed all my exams and whether or not I want to get the job I’m looking for, I still need to study for at least one more year in this town.  But it’s not such a big deal.

How much longer are you going to be there? I talked to Elisa and she said that you’d be there for a long time! Could you let me know? I’m sure that you are learning a lot of German!

As I said before, I’ve been occupied this month due to the numerous exams that I had to take, and if I wanted to pass all of them I had to kept myself out of the world in order to be able to study like never before. The good news is that I’ve passed all the tests, so I’m totally free to go anywhere. For instance, I could come visit you, and I’m thinking about it because I’d be glad to have the chance to see you again.

Despite the fact that I’ve passed all my exams, if I want to get the job I’m looking for, I need to study at least one more year in this town, but it’s not a big deal.
