The unlikely pilgrimage of Harold Fry I'm reading a book written by Rachel Joyce titled "The unlikely pilgrimage of Harold Fry". An old man, Harry Fry, receives a letter from an old colleague, Miss Queenie. They were friends when they worked together but suddenly Queenie went away and Harry didn't look for her. Now she is ill of cancer. When Harry reads the letter, he cries and decides to answer to her. He goes out to send the letter, but something makes him change idea: he wants to go to Queeney walking for 800 Kms. He believes that Queeney will wait for him before dieing. During the journey he meets a lot of people; everybody tells to Harry something of his or her life and he often thinks about his own life, his parents, his wife and son. I like a sentence very much "a life without love is not a life".

The Unlikely Pilgrimage of Harold Fry [1]

I'm reading a book written [2] by Rachel Joyce titled "The Unlikely Pilgrimage of Harold Fry". An old man, Harry Fry, receives a letter from an old colleague, Miss Queenie. They were friends when they worked together but suddenly one day, Queenie suddenly went away left and Harry didn't look for her. Now she is ill of with cancer/Now, she has cancer. When Harry reads the letter [what letter?], he cries and decides to answer to her/When Harry finds out about this in a letter/When Harry receives a letter from her, he breaks out into tears and decides to answer her. He goes out to send the letter, but something makes him change idea his mind/suddenly gets a new idea: he wants to go to visit Queeneyie; walking for an 800 Kms kilometer walk/He decides to walk eight hundred kilometers to see/visit Queenie. He believes that Queeneyie she will wait for him before dieing she dies. During the journey he meets a lot of many (different) people; everybody tells to Harry [3]something of about his or her life [4] and he often thinks about his own life/and he is often reminded of his own life, his parents, and his wife and son.
I very much like a the sentence/saying, very much "a life without love is not a life".

1. Titles are always capitalized

2. unless you want to emphasize the word 'written', it's not necessary. If you can remove a word and preserve the original meaning, it's best to remove the word.

3. tell someone, tell to someone

4. it should be 'his/her' - but to make things simpler (and more attractive visually), you can simply pick one of the two to represent both genders. You can also say 'everyone tells Harry something about their life'. Since in this case 'everyone tells Harry something about his/her life' = people are telling Harry things about his (Harry's) life, it's best to rephrase it altogether. "everyone tells Harry a secret" - something along those lines.

The unlikely pilgrimage of Harold Fry

I'm reading a book written by Rachel Joyce titled called (titled is technically correct but sounds strange) "The unlikely pilgrimage of Harold Fry". An old man, Harry Fry, receives a letter from an old colleague, Miss Queenie. They were friends when they worked together (when?) but suddenly Queenie went away left and Harry didn't look for her. Now she is ill of sick with cancer. When Harry reads the letter, he cries and decides to answer to her (or "reply to her"). He goes out to send the letter, but something makes him change idea his mind: he wants to go walk 800 kms to Queeney walking for 800 Kms. He believes that Queeney will die waiting for him before dieing. During the journey he meets a lot of people; everybody tells to Harry something of about his or her life and he often thinks about his own life, his parents, his wife and son.

I like a the sentence very much "a life without love is not a life" a lot.

In English , we do not change our "ideas". We change our minds. Very well written. Does he get to her before she dies? Great job!

The Unlikely Pilgrimage of Harold Fry

I'm reading a book written by Rachel Joyce entitled "The Unlikely Pilgrimage of Harold Fry". An old man, Harry Fry, receives a letter from an old colleague, Miss Queenie. They were friends when they worked together but suddenly Queenie went away and Harry didn't bother to look for her. Now she is dying of cancer.

When Harry reads the letter, he cries and decides to answer to her. He goes out to send the letter, but something makes him change his mind: he decides to visit Queeney on foot, a journey of 800 Kms.

He believes that Queeney will hang on to life until she sees him. During the journey he meets a lots of people; everybody tells him something of his or her life, and he often thinks about his own life, and the lives of his parents, his wife and his son.

I especially liked this sentence: "A life without love is not a life".

Congratulations, this was really well written. Just remember titles are usually capitalised in English (except the prepositions e.g. of, an, a, in ecc.)

I've read this book too, and I really enjoyed it!
