The worst experience during my life In the first year of my middle school, I shared a bed with a classmate, which I felt terrible. I attended middle school in my hometown, a small town in southern China, during the early 1990s. Because my home was relatively far from the school, I was boarding at that time. The school was so poor that there weren't enough beds for all the pupils. Since we were in the lowest grade, two of us shared a bed. The beds were old-fashioned bunk ones. It was even hard to turn over during sleeping. You can imagine how depressed I was to use this bed with another boy. what is worse, no one washed bed sheets for us, and I had to take home and asked my mother wash them once a sememster. As.As a result, the hygiene was terrible. In addition to this, I remember I was not as strong as the student who I shared the bed with, so he often bullied me, and even did not allow me to sleep in bed. In all, that was the worst sharing experience I've had in my life.

In the first year of my middle school, I shared a bed with a classmate, which I felt terrible. --> change to "In my first year of middle school, I shared a bed with a classmate, which I really hated." I wouldn't use "terrible" like that. You could say, "In my first year of middle school, I shared a bed with a classmate, which was a terrible experience." If you say you "felt terrible" about something, it usually means you did something wrong and felt really bad about it. 你很后悔你的一个错误。 That sounds like an awful experience!
