It sounds weird to say "ich habe eine Katze (er heißt Chewie)", though, with a feminine noun and a male pronoun. If the cat is actually male, better use "Kater" instead and say "ich habe einen Kater (er heißt Chewie)".

Ganz Gut. The only thing is that you say "Ich habe eine Katze." That means "I have a cat." "Eins" is mostly only used for counting. You use eine because "die Katze" is feminine. In the way you're using it it's also accusative, because "Katze" is the direct object of "haben." (in other words, the cat is "being had")
