Getting Practise - need help with grammar

Meine erte sprache ist Englisch, aber mochte ich ich möchte meine Deutsch bitte üben praktizieren. Möchten Sie mit mir Deutsch sprechen?

Remember to capitalize all nouns in German, even common nouns.

Indeed you do switch the subject and verb when you have a "time, place, manner, or reason" element at the beginning of a sentence or clause, however after ordinating conjuctions "aber, oder, doch, denn, und, and also" the word order stays the same.

You only add an -e to the ends of words ending in -ein when the following noun is feminine (NOM or ACC)

umaluts (the two dots over ä, ö and ü) are really important. "Mochten" means "liked." the past tense of "mögen", to like. If you can't put them on the computer, then write "ae, oe, and ue" instead. However, i would suggest looking up how to write them.

In personal letters (i'm pretty sure this qualifies as one) you capitalize all words for "you" and "your."

Hope this helps somewhat!
