An IELTS Essay: Technology 2: PLlease Let Me Know What My Mistakes Are: thanks soo much The Question: Has technology made the world a better place to live? Technology is to improve the life and the world and to solve the problems. Nowadays, it can be seen that technology is involved in all aspects of mankind’s life. Question over whether technology has contributed to a better life or not is still open to discuss. In my opinion, however, there are some problems caused by technology, but technology has changed the world towards improving human condition. Firstly, societies have affected by technology ranging from communication to business situations. Internet, for example, has made the world as a union keeping people in touch with each other regardless of the distance. Another good example is the online business providing easier and cheaper way t trade internationally via internet. Additionally, entertainments such as computer games, music players, video movies and animations have helped people enjoy life conveniently. Secondly, technology has resulted in developing medicine. These days, many fetal diseases, those once supposed never can cure them, have treated by technology. Besides, disable people are capable to handle themselves to some extent, for instance, artificial body members and means like wheelchair are samples of technological advances. Thirdly, technology has revolutionized the way of transport. Automobiles, planes, ships, jets, and many kinds of other vehicles have simplified people transporting. However, there are some problems caused by the appearance of recent technologies. For example, unwanted pollutions such as fume and Carbone dioxide resulted from vehicles or plants have contributed to polluted environment. In addition to unwanted problems, some problems like nuclear bombs threatening people’s lives and peace are other negative aspects of using technology. All in all, I think technology has changed the world surprisingly developed and the problems caused by technology are related to how mankind uses it for.
