My apps I didnt know what Skype is until firstly I logged in italki. At that time, because of my wish in italki, to study English, I followed hundreds of English native speakers who want to learn Mandarin. I read people's profiles before I followed them and then I realised many of them use Skype, which is more popular in their countries. In China, WeChat and QQ are two hot apps that most Chinese, especially youth, use. Although some I have followed have these two apps, to avoid inconvenience, I chose Skype as a main way to keep touch with them. However, WeChat and QQ have my preference since there is a time space for me to practise it before I can send audio messages. I do like this function, audio messages. I must admit it I still lack of confidence to communicate with native speakers. I dare not to chat through Skype phone call.

My apps

I didn't know what Skype was until firstly I logged on to italki.
At that time, because I wished to study English via Italki, I followed hundreds of English native speakers who wanted to learn Mandarin. I read people's profiles before I followed them and then I realised many of them use Skype, which is more popular in their countries.
In China, WeChat and QQ are two hot apps that most Chinese, especially the youth, use. Although some people I have followed also have these two apps, to avoid inconvenience, I chose Skype as my main way to keep in touch with them.
However, I prefer WeChat and QQ have my preference since they allow me more time there is a time space for me to practise it before I can send audio messages. I do like the audio messages function.
I must admit that I still lack of confidence in communicating with native speakers. I am not brave enough dare not to chat by making a Skype phone call.
