A rainy day.

It was a rainy day, the streets was were wet and the sky was full of clouds. We wanted to go walking at park*, but we could not (this is fine but you could say "we couldn't" instead of "we could not" it's easier and sounds more natural. "We could not" sounds rather formal) . So, my sister was very sad, and my cousin was angry. I said to her: -Calm down! we can to (when an infinitive follows the word can, to is never used. E.g. I can play and not I can to play, or I can run and not I can to run) play something inside- but, she to carried on being angry (to be honest "she carried on angry" sounds correct, but I think it would be more correct to say "she carried on being angry"). So, I come came up with to play a board game to play*, I said to my cousin: -Cheer up!- But she said to me: Put a sock in it. However, we ended up playing video games.

* Okay I'm not exactly sure what you want to say here, if you mean to say "Queriamos pasear por el parque" then you would say "we wanted to walk (or go walking) through the park." If you mean to say "queriamos andar al parque" then you would say "we wanted to walk to the park".

*I am not sure what you're trying to say.
