I am a visual learner I think I am a visual learner. I've just had a class and the new word that is stuck in my mind is "sod". I had no idea what it was until my teacher send me a link to pictures of it on google. That's a good strategy of acquiring new vocabulary. I will do it more often from now on.

Yes definitely do that. Most of my students like picture description exercises too. :-)
