An IELTS Essay: Books ... Please help me with corrections.....Thanks so much in advance Question: Do you agree or disagree with the following statement? People should read only those books that are about real events, real people, and established facts. Use specific reasons and details to support your opinion. Although reading books about real events and facts is undoubtedly necessary and useful, I do not agree with the statement. I think reading all kind of books would be beneficial and required. In this essay I will outline some reasons for this point of view. The first reason why a wide-ranging of books is a must is every person has personal interest. There has to be a vast range of books for any taste. While biographies would be matched with some type of readers, romances or mystery books please others. The second reason to have a various range of books is “age range”. Readers having different age range inevitably have to be served with books adapted with their age. For example, children’s books providing simple and colored information to enjoy spending time differ than books read by adults. A good point about reading is different book meet the needs of readers. For instance, sometimes reader’s goal is to be relaxed in his/her spare time and maybe a poem is the best choice for the reader or to be knowledgeable about general information. Another good example is fiction books promoting imagination and making fun. Additionally, reading books limited to facts and real events could be uninspired. The human nature is so that people prefer to read and know about variant subjects. All in all, in my opinion, it is impossible to say books have to be restricted to facts and incident. Readers having different attitudes and interests need to meet their desires with appropriate subjects. Therefore all sorts of books such as poems, novels, horror and self help books are necessary to societies.

Although reading books about real events and facts is undoubtedly necessary and useful, I do not agree with thethis statement. I think reading all kinds of books(Or "a variety of books") would be the most beneficial and required (try elaborating on this. Required why or for what?). In this essay I will outline some reasons for this point of view.
