Night Fishing Long days ago, in my childhood, I went fishing at night with my father and two young brothers. We parked the car near the wharf, and walked a lot on a rocky area to the fishing point at low tide. On the way to the point, it was a little hard to walk and jump rocks because I carried some fishing rods and a cool box. However, on the way back, that was really harder because we went back at rising tide. The tide came in and rocks went under the water. We decided to swim and go back to the wharf. We were almost in the dark. We had some handy lights but they weren't enough. The moon light was the most bright. We started to swim in the black water. No sooner did I start to swim than I realized the sea water began to light. That was like a magic. When I moved my hands and my legs, many green luminary balls appeared with bubbles in black water. My father told us that was made of planktons, called Sea Sparkles. Fluorescent Plankton at Night: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7kyP0XsF0zM

Night Fishing

A long time ago, during my childhood, I went fishing at night with my father and two young brothers. We parked the car near the wharf, and at low tide we walked along a rocky area to the fishing point.

On the way to the point, it was quite hard to walk and jump over rocks because I was carrying some fishing rods and a cool box. However, on the way back, that it was really hard because we went back when the tide was high. As the tide came in the rocks went under the water. We decided to swim and go back to the wharf.

We were almost in the dark. We had some hand lights but they weren't enough. The moon light was the most bright. We started to swim in the dark water.

As soon as I started to swim I realized the sea water was getting lighter. It was like magic. When I moved my hands and my legs, many green luminescent balls with bubbles appeared in the dark water.

My father told us that they were made up of plankton, also known as Sea Sparkles.
