Today I went to the university to give a talk about my career, but the teacher was late. I had to wait from 6:00 pm to 9:00 pm when the teacher arrived at the school, but when my turn to talk arrived, it was too late. Now I have to go to the university again next Friday, wearing my business suit. I hope I get an A on my talk. The good thing is that I have one more day to study the information.

Shorter sentences are easier to read and to write.

This evening I went to school to do my career presentation. My teacher was three hours late, and did not arrive until nine o'clock. When it was my turn to present, time ran out, so now I have to return next Friday in my business suit again.

I hope to earn an "A" for my presentation, and on the bright side: I do have one more day to study the information.

Problemitas con la estructura de la oración, pero bueno. He añadido un poco de expresión idiomática para ti: "On the bright side."
