Our holiday
This morning my eldest son left for the mountains with his scout group for 9 days.
They had to change their destination (at the 11th hour/ at the last minute) because it has rained so much and the place where they were going to go and put up their tents / (or: were going to camp) was awash / was flooded / was sodden.
Tomorrow my youngest sun is leaving with my brother and his children for (a holiday at) the seaside, and we all hope they will have some sunny days!
The day after tomorrow my daughter is leaving for the mountains with her scout group too, so next week my husband and I will be alone!!! For a whole week! I can't believe it...we have been married for 14 years and this will be the first time we have been alone since we became parents. We aren't off from work / or: we still have to go to work but it will be a holiday for us, too.

We usually refer to mountains in the plural (even if we're only visiting one in particular, in which case we'd be more likely to refer to it by name : e.g. we're camping in the mountains; we're hiking up Mont Blanc ; we're trekking up Ben Nevis...). We also LEAVE FOR or GO TO somewhere, never LEAVE TO anywhere...
We say 'scout group' not 'group scout'.
Exclamation marks come straight after the word so you need to omit any space in between...
