Traveling Traveling is a highly controversial topic. Some people argue that it is a total waste of time and money, which could have been used for better purposes, such as continuing further studies, purchasing a property, or even simply getting a SPA. Contrary to the argument, there are some people who hold the idea that traveling, just like reading books, is beneficial to us all. You explore the outlandish territory while at the same time, opening your mind, gaining wisdom and insights, and most importantly, spending some time with yourselves and acquiring the inner-peace, which is indeed a luxury in modern society, no matter how ridiculous it may sound. But all of these advantages apparently only apply to independent travelling, according to some cool young artists. Package tour, on the other hand, is a mode of business operation and therefore be excluded from any of the possible benefits it may generate. In my opinion, however, traveling by yourselves does not necessarily mean that you are superior on any level. This year, I am planning a trip to Tibet. This has been my dream since I was a teenager, and has always been on the checklist of things that must be done before the age of 30. Hopefully, my friends and I could overcome all the fears and difficulties, and finally make it happen during the summer. Godspeed. P.S. I understand that writing an essay everyday is not as enjoyable as eating crackers, but how should I stick to the ambitious plan while avoiding it being a dull routine? -_-"
