First notebook entry! Introducing myself in Japanese... (pls correct any mistakes!)

初めまして! 私の名前はルイズデスです。ルーとよんでください。三十一歳です。出身はイギリスのロンドンですが、ミルトンキーンズに住んでいます。ミルトンキーンズはロンドンの北にあります。日本語を半年間勉強しています。来月、日本に行きます。日本へ行くのは初めてです日本に来ました。私は日本に行くのを楽しみにしています。独学で日本語を勉強しています。大学で外国語を勉強していました。私は英語と同様にスペイン語とイタリア語が話せます。日本語がもっと話せたら幸せです。趣味は写真撮影とサイクリングです。 

...I've spent quite a while researching this introductory paragraph, I hope it's mostly ok but my level is still very basic... once I know it's correct I will ensure I learn it by heart. Even if I can't expand very far beyond this in conversation just yet, the important thing is to start communicating! Many thanks in advance for your help! :)

        I'm sure you didn't intend to write it with katakana but just typo.

       this translation would be "I came to Japan for the first time" which I don't think you didn't mean to say. 日本に行くのは初めてです。= "This will be my first time visiting(going to) Japan."

I'm actually surprised to know that you've been studying Japanese by yourself!

Your Japanese seem very natural and the forms of writing are great too.
